Have you already had cataract surgery and are now noticing that your eyes are not seeeing as well as they did after surgery ? This may have developed within months or several years after surgery.
If so, you may have some debris on your lens implant, leading to a loss of vision. The technical term for this is a posterior capsule opacification. This potentially disabling problem, can be treated quickly and painlessly with the use of a laser in the clinic. The name of the treatment is a YAG laser capsulotomy.
If you suspect, or have been told by your optician that you may have this, you may wish to have your eyes examined. Our Consultant would be happy to see you, and if necessary can usually treat this problem at the same clinic consultation. This condition is normally covered by health insurance, but self paying patients can be seen as well.
